Jiri Kovanda did a performative action entitled Kontact, in which he bumped into people on the streets of Prague in the 70s.
As part of my interest in the factuality of a document, I took his pictures as point of departure and reperformed the same action on and off for an entire month. My thoughts and findings were put together in a performative presentation in which I blended my own subjectivity with the objectivity of the documentation and my temporality and spatiality with his.
I chose to not record the actual event nor the presentation, but a video testimony about doing it.
